1. Overview

      Ethos Model Management (“Ethos,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a New York–based representation and mother agency. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any submissions you make to Ethos, including applications for representation.    

      By accessing or using this website, or by submitting materials to us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or submit materials.    

      Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, employment, or representation relationship between you and Ethos. Any representation will only be established under a separate, written agreement signed by all parties.    

2. Who We Are

      Ethos Model Management is a boutique model management and mother agency based in New York, representing a curated board of emerging and established talent for editorial, runway, commercial, and related work in the fashion and creative industries.    

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years of age to submit materials through our website.
• Applicants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian involved in the process and, where applicable, in the execution of representation agreements.
• By submitting materials, you confirm that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete.

4. Submissions & Scouting

      You may submit materials to Ethos via the Apply page or by email solely for the purpose of being considered for potential representation or collaboration.    

• We do not charge any fee to apply or to be considered for representation.
• Submitting materials does not guarantee representation, bookings, or any particular outcome.
• We may review, store, and internally share your submission with trusted partners (such as placement agencies) for scouting and placement purposes, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
• We reserve the right to decline submissions at our discretion and are under no obligation to respond to every submission.

5. Representation & Contracts

      Any formal representation, including exclusivity, scope, duration, and commission structure, will be governed by a separate written agreement between you (or your parent/guardian, if applicable) and Ethos.    

•       These Terms do not constitute an offer of representation, nor do they replace the terms of any individual model management or mother agency agreement.    
•       In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed representation agreement, the signed agreement will control.    

6. Fees, Commissions & Payments

      If you sign a representation agreement with Ethos, any commissions, service fees, and payment terms will be clearly specified in that agreement and in the booking documentation. In general:    

• Ethos may charge commission to the model and/or to the client on booked work, as set out in your contract.
• Clients are typically invoiced directly by Ethos or by a partner agency, subject to the booking terms.
• Payments to models are usually processed after client payment has cleared, less any agreed commissions and authorized deductions as outlined in the representation agreement.

      If you are represented in New York, Ethos intends to comply with applicable local laws and regulations, including the New York Fashion Workers Act where relevant, regarding transparent accounting, timely payments, and clear documentation of commissions and deductions.    

7. Expenses

      Any expenses advanced by Ethos on your behalf (for example, select travel, digitals, development shoots, or comp cards) will only be incurred in accordance with your representation agreement or with your prior consent, and will be itemized in statements provided to you.    

      The nature of expenses, whether they are recoupable, and how they are reconciled against your earnings will be detailed in the relevant agreement or statement. You are encouraged to ask questions before approving any major expenses.    

8. Professional Conduct & Safety

      Ethos expects all clients, photographers, creatives, and collaborators to maintain a professional, respectful, and safe environment. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, abuse, or unsafe working conditions.    

• If you ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable on a job or at a casting arranged by Ethos, you should contact us as soon as possible at info@ethosmodels.com.
• You are not required to participate in any situation that feels unsafe, exploitative, or violates your boundaries.

9. Independent Contractor Status

      Models represented by Ethos generally work as independent contractors, not employees of Ethos, unless otherwise specified by law or by written agreement.    

      You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and compliance with any legal obligations arising from your work, except where otherwise mandated by local laws or agreed in writing.    

10. Intellectual Property

      The content on this website, including text, images, video, and logos, is owned by Ethos or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without prior written consent.    

      You retain rights in the images and materials you submit, subject to any rights you grant to Ethos in a signed representation agreement. By submitting materials, you grant us a limited, revocable license to store, review, and internally share those materials for scouting and placement purposes.    

11. Website Use

• You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• We do not guarantee that the website will be available at all times or free from errors or interruptions.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time, without notice.

12. Privacy

      Our collection and use of personal information through this website is described in our Privacy Policy. By using this site or submitting materials, you acknowledge that your personal data will be handled in accordance with that policy.    

13. Third-Party Links

      This website may contain links to third-party sites, platforms, or services. Ethos is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.    

14. No Guarantee

      We make no promise or guarantee of representation, bookings, income, or specific career outcomes, even if you are represented by Ethos. The fashion and creative industries are inherently variable, and results can never be assured.    

15. Limitation of Liability

      To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ethos and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of this website or your submissions.    

      Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable law that cannot be excluded by agreement.    

16. Changes to These Terms

      We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, applicable laws, or the services we offer. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of the website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
